Our Mission
We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Evangelism.
Leadership, Trust and Integrity
Welcome to Covenant Moravian Church — a family-focused, community-oriented congregation where faith, fellowship and service come together.
The Covenant Moravian Church is a congregation of the Moravian Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands and part of the worldwide Moravian Unity.
We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Evangelism.
A family-focused, community-oriented church committed to proclaiming the holistic Gospel of Christ for the transformation of lives.
“Our Lamb Has Conquered, Let Us Follow Him.”
The Moravian Church came into being on March 1, 1457, inspired by the teachings and actions of John Hus. On December 9, 1754, three Moravian missionaries arrived in Jamaica. Covenant continues this heritage of worship, mission and service.
Together with the Church Universal, we share faith in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe God is present with us in the Word and Sacraments. Through the Holy Spirit, God directs and unites us and forms us into the Church.
We strive to be a caring and supportive family where every generation can worship, grow and serve.
We create opportunities for people to encounter the presence of Christ through ministries that respond to real needs.
